About Restless 2

Restless 2 is a Rival 32, designed by Peter Brett. She was moulded in 1971 (No. 37 ) and launched in 1973.
She was first registered in Maldon, Essex and came into present ownership in 1995, thereafter she was based in Walton on the Naze until 1999.  Her original owner owned “Restless” first, which is a Rival 31, believed to be currently based in Hamburg .

In 1997, Restless 2 received a refit at Halls Yard and sailed to Spain, onward to the Azores and back to England. In the course of 3 months the total distance covered was 1500 nm, and visited 5 of the islands in the Azores group.

In 1999 Restless 2 sailed to Denmark and has since been based at Kignaes Harbour, which lies on the shores of Roskilde Fjord. The owners, Dan and Anne-Marie Meidell Evans live in Jaegerspris, just 10 mins cycle ride from the harbour. In 2002, Restless was reflagged, and now sails under the Danish flag.
