I have just finished laying a new floor in Restless. It makes a huge difference to the internal appearance. I desgned and built the table in 2004. It has two leaves, room for eight wine bottles in the top, and a special cupboard below to house a sewing machine. The table is bolted through the floor with six 8mm bolts, so it won't move if you push against it in a rough sea. The upholstery was done by a small business back in Walton on the Naze,England. The material used is heavy duty, as used in English pub seating!

7th May 2012- Re-launch
Restless returned to her right element today - afloat that is. The mast is up, and the rigging tightened. We had lots of help to put the mast up today, and that made it a lot easier.Tomorrow we shall reinstall the electronics, which were taken home for the winter. We have also a new wind instrument and new Navtex to fit. We may even get to put the sails on, if it stays dry and isn't blowing too hard. The liferaft has just been serviced, and needs carrying on board. So we'll soon be sailing again. There is just the matter of our daughter's wedding on the 26th though before we can get away for our 10 week summer cruise .
